#Liquid detected in lightning connector iphone 13 upgrade
Ok now that you’ve done all the ‘relatively safe’ stuff to we then upgrade to ‘jaming stuff in the port’.As an apple tech in a previous lief, I have seen people jam entire teddy bears worth of lint in a lighting port Though you do generally need something a bit stiff bristled to get in there effectively which unless you’re an artist or something isnt normally something people have. A used but dry toothbrush is a good start. Now assuming you are some kind of lint collector and the stuff is like really jammed in there, the next step is to use brush to get in there.which is also why you should turn off your phone. As long as you dont invert the can and spray cold water into the port its fine. As what you do next could be a problem if it’s on. I normally rcommend a regiment of increasing ‘danger’ basically every time you charge it, you’re just cramming moe lint down the port making it worse.

First its just ‘oh i jus tneed to jiggle it to charge’ to ‘I need to force this thing in with all the might in the universe to make a contact’.

Lint in the phone basically is an ever escalating process of jamming lint in from our pockets, then cramming it in further by plugging in a lighting port, rinse and repeat. Note I don’t really recommend doing that as a first measure since its very easy to bend pins inside the phone in which case you are then totally royally screwed.
